For our Finance Department, we are looking for:

Experienced general actuaries (f/m)

Your mission

  • Varied participation in the numerous actuarial studies carried out by the Group's Actuarial Department, including in particular
  • pricing of LAMAL and LCA products (annual process, new products)
  • work on the determination of technical provisions (periodic closings)
  • work related to annual and multi-annual budget planning (business plan)
  • as well as all other work of actuarial nature and related to the Group's development and challenges, in connection with other services of the Finance Department and the Responsible Actuary (risk compensation, tied assets, actuarial and financial risks, solvency, ORSA, etc.).
  • Various specific actuarial studies related to the Finance Department's various recurring or exceptional assignments.
  • Participation in the development and improvement of methods, quantitative and IT processes and tools that enable the implementation of these tasks to the highest degree of quality, in compliance with the Group's principles and rules, also with a very high-quality level of documentation for both internal and external reviews, and participation in necessary back-ups in the Actuarial team.

Your profile

  • You have a Master's or PhD degree in Mathematics, or an equivalent quantitative speciality, or an Actuary's degree (ASA or equivalent)
  • You have at least 8 to 10 years of professional experience as an insurance actuary, preferably with some time spent working in a large audit firm; experience in health insurance is a major asset.
  • You have an excellent command of numerical methods and of the big data environment for actuaries, as well as appropriate programming languages (e.g. R, Python, SAS, C++, VBA) and advanced statistical tools
  • You are organised, flexible and able to work both independently and as part of a team under pressure, aware of deadlines.
  • You have a keen sense of commitment and have a very high-quality standard.
  • You have a strong ability to explain complex actuarial work to non-specialists in a simple, concise and synthetic manner, both in writing and orally.
  • The working language is French, a professional level of German is required in our regulated context (FINMA - independent supervisory authority, FOPH - Federal Office of Public Health), as well as a very good level of English.
